CIAA redesigns mark, seal

image002CIAA Commissioner Jacqie Carpenter unveiled the redesign of the conference’s mark, seal and tagline last week at the Charlotte Convention Center, where the conference’s basketball tourney will kickoff on Feb. 25.

The logo is derived from the conference’s previous version; a mark that dates back to the 80s. In the new design, the logo and seal remain consistent with its tribute to the five founding institutions (five stars), and the CIAA’s dedication to education and growth (wheat).

Also at the unveiling, basketball tournament title sponsors Nationwide Insurance, Food Lion and Toyota shared details of their planned tournament activities, including community initiatives.

For more information on tournament activities and an official schedule of events, visit www.ciaatournament.org.
