Members of the Next Level Track Club competed earlier this month at the USATF South Zone Indoor Youth Track & Field Championships at the JDL Fast Track indoor facility in Winston-Salem.

Christian Beal, 13, led the way for the team, winning two gold medals and a bronze. One of the golds was earned when Beal joined Preston Alston, Markie McRae and Bryan Lucas to win the 4 x 200m relay.

In the 11–12-year-olds age group, the quartet of Dillon Lucas, Ahmani Marshall, Jayden King-Penn and Ahmad Townes combined for a total of nine medals, four of them gold.
