The 28th Annual Community Awards Banquet will be held March 23

at 6:00 p.m. at the Benton Convention Center.

Join WSSU Football Coach Connell Maynor and Linda Jackson-Barnes, assistant to Mayor Allen Joines, as they receive the Man and Woman of the Year award.  Many others will be honored for their contributions to the community in a variety of categories. The keynote speaker will be Rev. Jeremiah Wright, pastor emeritus of the Chicago mega church once attended by the First Family.
