The Winston-Salem City Council has approved spending $2.95 million in federal pandemic relief for crime prevention, an eviction-assistance program, and a one-time bonus for city employees who performed essential work during the pandemic.

So they decided that they would travel to Rolling Hills on Saturday, Sept. 18, to give out hot dogs, snacks and drinks that they were funding from their own pockets. They wanted it to be a community unity event with the theme ”Save The Community.”
