The 40+ Stage Company honored the greatness of Paul Robeson with the musical play “Moments with Paul” at the Gallery Theatre at the Intergenerational Center for Arts and Wellness from Feb. 17 – Feb. 25. This musical production highlighted the career and lifetime contributions of Paul Robeson, a warrior in the struggle for civil rights.
Local artist Kayyum Allah curated the Happy Hill Neighborhood Association Art Anthology (HHNA) exhibit that was recently on display at the Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts from Jan. 19 – Feb. 18. The purpose of the art collective is to create a visual representation that helps to revitalize the oldest African American community in North Carolina.
